    Google plans to open store for Biz Software and share profits with developers

    The Wall Street Journal reported today that Google will let third-party developers sell software through an online business software store that hooks into their collaboration applications with hopes of boosting its existing applications store. Google would take a portion of the proceeds and share sales with the third-party developers. Their ultimate goal is to foster more adoption of Google Apps. Could this approach open up an additional revenue stream for third-party developers? Too early to say now, but should know more leading up to the March unveiling of the store.
