    Dr. Jane Margolis discusses her research on inequities in computer science for minorities

    I came across a video of one of my favorite people Dr. Jane Margolis from UCLA. In this video Dr. Margolis is being interviewed by Jewel, a graduate student in computer science at North Carolina A&T, at the Tapia Conference in Portland, OR which is where I first met Dr. Margolis after communicating via email for several months. In this video, Jane talks about her research as a social scientists studying the inequities in computer science and in computer science education for black and Hispanic students.     Former Geek Squad employee wants another job in tech...doing something!

    Is this DiceTV video episode, David Spark scopes out the folks waiting in line to get into the 5th Anniversary Diggnation party in San Francisco and runs into a former BestBuy Geek Squad employee Dave Martinez. This former Geek Squader is looking for another job in tech, the problem is he hasn't even taken the first step to find it. I guess he thinks it falls out of the sky or something!
